Affiliate Window Training Day

I’d like to know what affiliate window think about expansion to Eastern Europe for example Poland, I think it would be a grate startup up there.

I work with affiliate window for about a year and think they are great, not because every day when log in there, some new commission pending, because staff which is always helpful, Customer Care is just grate, so I can recommend them as one of Top agency in London. There still some leak in their system, for example tracking sale system is out of date, for example one day I did a test. I bought Xbox which from web call it A (mogio.co.uk) should get commission from this sale. But.. the truth is that the commission didn’t appeared, the question is why??? On site A Xbox (refurbished) was in SERB so I clicked and got redirected to site B (game.co.uk) and then Xbox (refurbished) doesn’t exist. I decided to continue shopping instead I bought brand new Xbox unit from the same game.co.uk shop. Should I be commissioned for this? OK I might missing something, I will ask guys.

The training day is going to be about Generating commissions effectively through Affiliate Window

I will try to bring as much information as I can:-)

clickable video where to start?

Filed under: Uncategorized, Virtual 360 Live! — admin @ 12:34 pm

Currently I am working with camera, yes, camera and internet likes each other those days.
Script is ready for all takes, and scenes, so fingers crossed. Show room, because all gonna happen there and then, is around 300smq with internal walls and partitions. Lighting is supported by additional main light, backlight fill light, and one camera Sony HD Z1. Firstly we start with outside, to get connected with Google virtual street view, and then we move into the show room, to shop for bathroom units. Yes this example will be focus on virtual shop merchandising bathrooms. Actually all is simple, get indexed all interior with stuff exposed on the shelves, simple isn’t? On the second lap we take closer look at the items, its like second camera shoot, but that still same camera just another round via the alleyway with close up, yes close up, that’s why moGio called their service http://closeup.mogio.co.uk because their are only one in London which come up with this idea, and I am the person who make it all alive! to do whole shop we have keep in mind all shoppers not to interrupt, otherwise there will be additional editing just to remove unwanted items.

We might ask few people (shoppers) what they think about store, if stuff will be happy they might mention what is hot at the moment, but those bits will be as a separate, additional option for this clickable video. We are not product pushers, we are developers to extend Google street view and take visitors inside the stores and filmed places. Yes that what I call internet 2.0 take me, show me your inside:-) more on this very soon. For now I am away to visit my family so I wish you all happy easter!

clickable video and google 360 street view?

Filed under: Virtual 360 Live!, music — admin @ 7:41 pm

Do you thin that 360 street view is just beginning of clickable video? In my oppinion affiliate marketing need another way of creativity, that will allowed deelopers to find another way of promotion. Everything waht is new on the net, is hot, so all technology companies maight benefit from this. Waht about whole preperation of clicable video what you really need?

Here I will point out few important bits an peaces:

Video:-) you have to have a vision, script for the video. How you are going to shoot hoe many cameras, lighting, and this sort of stuff. Is there any live reviews involved? Does object are clearly exposed to filming? Is this make a sense of filming small object or just bigger once? what would you like to acheive by this vide? Is it interesting any? At this stage before everything ealse you have to think abourt sound. Yes sound is important. You must be able to express your views. Cameraman is the third eve of internet users, so make sure that all is planned all camera tracking is with no shakes and picture is clear. You can think about blue screen solution, you can carry pout at home. This is alwayas an option for reviews for example if you decide to do shopping run.

Here youve got example of detiled video:

The second step is adding layers with enabled urls. This might be done in many different ways. But the one which i really liked is from http://www.ooyala.com/

Ooyala provides Software as a Service for online video management, delivery, syndication, and monetization. We offer a completely integrated platform, Backlot, that provides content ingestion and management, distribution control, ad assignment, and detailed analytics in an intuitive user interface.

Then what you have to do is source product from merchant e.g show room. If they already got XML data feed ready it would easy process.

After enabling whole service on your web site you would be able do produce statistics, one form every object within video that someone clicked, and another from affiliate network.

Do you thin that might work? I think so. This service will be very soon available from British Company called moGio check them here http://www.closeup.mogio.co.uk it will be used for interior projects.

Google Street View 360 London - Virtual shopping expirence

I wonder how Google Street View will continue to grow within next years. I presume that will allow us web developers, video makers to create rich media content available online. Yes, its all about online now, all about new way Internet 2.0 will come to live us, users. From time to time I am trying to think about solutions with regards to 360 viewing, a specially interior places like shops, with already existing e-commerce infrastructure. How it would be to find a pair of suites from any place localed on Oxford street in London, where virtually street from Google street map will take to the door where developers job starts. Yes, Google won’t go feather then this. Just up to the door. After that we developers must take shoppers inside the shop to show what’s there.

bathstore

Question, is it worth to create object with 3D and turn around, or just keep it 2d and make someting like show with staff, so interviews, and chat about their speciall offers and up to date information about comapny. Does is worth to create whole 360 movements when it comes to fisical palces like shop with baths, or tiles? there is a company called mydeco.com they created 3d tool, which allowes you to create space from their affiliate products. their tool is so advance that a small about of people is able to design thei own room. May be this  is a tool fore designers with knowloage about how 3d programs works. That’s fine then.  When it comes to ordinary shopers, 90% of us (as researches shows) like to user friendly applications, that will help them find what they are looking for. Thake a look the firs comparsion web site in the UK focused on Interior design, user freindly interface, over 130 retailers, quick search for product no messing around, mogio.co.uk My conclusion is simple, to find you products for example bathroom furniture is much easier then on mydeco.   conclusion, create web based application for people not for search engines.  I think moGio is doing right thing, when decided to go with 360 Video show rooms, but product are in 2D wchich is fine, its got any way hudge power of creating rich customer expirence.

Amount of Keywords??? SEO

Amount of Keywords???

Proponents of keyword density formulas will quickly spout out a percentage: 4%, 6%, 12%. However, I wonder where they get these figures from. If you do a search in Google for any keyphrase (say [cast iron frying pan], for example), you’ll immediately see why keyword density formulas don’t add up. Either version - cast iron or cast-iron - bring the same listings on the search engine results pages (SERPs). Please note: I was looking at the source code for each page so as to include mentions in tags as well as on the page.

Does Frequency Not Count At All?

Does that mean that engines don’t give any consideration to how often keyphrases are used within the copy? No. In fact, The Official Google Blog recently did a series entitled Technologies Behind Google Ranking.

In one of the posts, the author states, “The core technology in our ranking system comes from the academic field of Information Retrieval (IR). The IR community has studied search for almost 50

years. It uses statistical signals of word salience, like word frequency, to rank pages.” He continues with, “IR gave us a solid foundation, and we have built a tremendous system on top using links, page structure, and many other such innovations.”

Other Google documents make mention of the need to include key terms in your copy, so it is established that keywords in copy can play an important role. However, I do not see evidence that a standard, across-the-board “keyword density” is at play. Not to mention, forcing phrases into your page text to the point that it sounds utterly stupid makes no sense. It’s not going to help your rankings (except maybe on some sub-engines), and it will almost certainly turn off your site visitors.

So, back to the original question: “How many keyphrases are enough?” That’s a judgment call that comes with experience. Here are a few guidelines - not carved-in-stone rules - but guidelines you can consider. And no, don’t do them all every time.

Keyword Inclusion Guidelines

1) I make an effort to include keyphrase(s) in the headlines and sub-heads if at all possible.

2) Adding keyphrases about once or twice per paragraph is a good goal. I never count words or run keyword density percentages.

3) Focus on writing in natural language. Yes, you want to incorporate keywords, but not to the point that you ruin your copy. It should sound natural.

4) Read your copy out loud. If it sounds stupid or redundant to you, it will sound stupid and redundant to your site visitor.

5) If it makes sense to do so, I try to include keyphrase(s) in bold, italic, bulleted lists, or in other text that is specially formatted. If you wouldn’t bold or italicize the words or phrases to emphasize them to your visitors, however, don’t make a special exception for the engines. These are what I call Brownie point tactics. The impact won’t be significant, but every little bit helps.

Bottom line? Don’t sacrifice the quality and conversion power of your copy to chase search engine rabbits. In the end, it won’t be worth it.
